Eddie Star's Technicolor DreamsNEW YORK – Oct. 3, 2025 – PRLog — Ton-Up, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of Eddie Star‘s “Technicolor Dreams,” out today as a single.  The song was initially released in 2022 on the cast album for Philip Paul Kelly‘s Rock-n-Roll Wrestling Spectacle, “Rockquiem For A Wrestler.”  Featuring the music of Star (Eddie Star & The Zero Effect, JoyBox) and composer Paul Castrataro (Picture of Dorian Gray, Fags & Cellphones), the story about a champion wrestler created a lot of excitement among both wrestling and music fans.  The Off-Broadway “Elevated Staged Reading” streamed live on June 27, 2020, from New York City’s Triad Theater, was covered on PWInsider.com, the leading site for wrestling news, and Broadway World.
In addition to the title track, the single includes the tracks Bitter Water, and Mirror, Mirror, recorded live and featuring harmony vocals by Philip Paul Kelly.  Star’s recent releases include Informal Deviance (13 Sexational Songs) with his side project, the band JoyBox, in 2015, and a solo single, Science Fiction/Double Feature, in 2019.

Philip Paul Kelly has released the music video for his single “Savior” today on his Official YouTube channel through Ton-Up Records. Filmed in mid-town Manhattan, New York, and directed by Eddie Star, the video visually captures the song’s comic book superhero theme with the edgy metropolitan look of Batman’s Gotham City or Superman’s Metropolis.

The single “Savior” showcases Philip Paul Kelly’s signature vocal style and captures his ability to draw the listener into the song. Recorded live at New York’s Triad Theater during the elevated staged reading of “Rockquiem For A Wrestler, in June of 2020, Philip Paul Kelly brings a blistering intensity and menace, capturing the spontaneity that is Rock-n-Roll.

The Off-Broadway Cast Recording of Philip Paul Kelly‘s Rock-n-Roll Wrestling Spectacle, “Rockquiem For A Wrestler,” is available on Compact Disc and Music Streaming/Download Services today.

Featuring the music of Eddie Star (Eddie Star & The Zero Effect, JoyBox) and composer Paul Castrataro (Picture of Dorian Gray, Fags & Cellphones) the show about a champion wrestler created a lot of excitement among both wrestling and music fans. The “Elevated Staged Reading” streamed live on June 27, 2020, from New York City’s Triad Theater.

The single, “Savior” (One of Star’s songs) sung by Philip Paul Kelly, was released earlier this year. It will be accompanied by a music video currently in post-production and scheduled for release early next year. “Rockquiem For A Wrestler” is in development for the screen by Kelly, who is reprising his role as Mr. Greenway in the Ogunquit Playhouse at the Music Hall’s production of “Elf the Musical” in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, this holiday season.

The story about a champion wrestler revisiting his past, transports the audience simultaneously between the world of professional wrestling and being at a rock concert, is currently being developed for the screen.
